Kim Harris
Operations Director
Kim Harris makes sure the wheels of Media & Associates keep on rolling. Kim cut her political teeth directing production for the company in the days when running art boards to printers in the middle of the night and dropping off bags of mail at the post office was commonplace. After years technological change, some of which Kim has pioneered, the deadlines are still critical but the stakes are now much higher.
Harris joined Media & Associates over two decades ago as a policy advisor but quickly became the company’s campaign field marshal, pulling together the strategic, creative and production components of the operation to allow for some fastest concept-to-completion production schedules in the country. From local campaigns to statewide communications programs, Harris knows how to get things done.
During the 2024 Proposition 5 campaign, Harris led the effort to localize messaging and advocate recruitment which paved the way for micro-targeting in California’s Central Valley, the San Francisco Bay Area and the Inland Empire. The model she developed is now being replicated in the campaigns of several statewide candidates in the lead-up to California’s 2026 primary elections.
Kim has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Northeastern University, and a Master’s in Policy Analysis from the Heller School at Brandeis University. She and her husband are proud empty nesters except for their big dog Beaux.
